POLi Casino Payments NZ: 2026 Security and Fees

POLi and NZ online casino payments: 2026 checks

Reviewed 25 September 2026. POLi is a bank payment service, but its availability, authentication flow, fees and withdrawal options depend on the bank, merchant and current integration. A casino listing POLi is not proof that it holds a New Zealand licence or can offer guaranteed instant withdrawals.

Check how the payment is authorised

ASB announced a partnership to support POLi payments through an open banking method as merchants transition. This does not establish that every POLi transaction at every bank or casino uses that method. Payments NZ advises customers to authorise open banking access through their bank’s secure process and never share online banking passwords or security codes with another organisation. Check the actual checkout flow and your bank’s guidance before approving access.

Terms to inspect

  • Whether the operator currently accepts the method for your bank and account type.
  • Any operator, provider or bank fee and any NZD conversion.
  • Whether the method is for deposits only, and which withdrawal method the operator uses.
  • Processing time, daily limits, identity checks and complaint contact details.

Do not assume “zero fees,” “instant payouts,” or automatic approval because a page displays a POLi logo. Read the operator’s payment terms and check DIA’s current licensing position: first NZ online casino licences are expected in early 2027. See our payment methods hub.
